Muntean Cristina Ioana

Researcher @HPCLab

Research Interests

My main research interests are in Information Retrieval and Machine Learning with applications to web search and social media. I am particularly interested in neural and classic IR models and their application to conversational IR.

Future events

I will be attending the following events:

  • 25-30 July 2020: SIGIR'20 in Xi'an, China

Research projects

I am currently working in two European projects in which I also have responsibility roles.

MASTER

MASTER (Multiple ASpects TrajEctoRy management and analysis) is a project funded under the call H2020-MSCA-RISE-2017 with the objective of forming an international and inter-sectoral network of organizations working on a joint research program to define new methods to build, manage and analyze multiple aspects semantic trajectories..

SoBigData

SoBigData++ is the European Research Infrastructure for Big Data and Social Mining. From data to knowledge, investigating stories ethically, paying attention to citizens privacy. SoBigData++ promotes repeatable and open science. SoBigData++ is primarily aimed at serving the needs of researchers with openly available datasets and open source methods and services provided by the new research infrastructure.
