A short profile

Ranieri graduated in Computer Sciences in 1982 at the University of Pisa, Italy. He is currently a senior researcher at the Information Science and Technologies Institute of Italian National Research Council. His research interests include: high performance computing, parallel applications and algorithms, job scheduling, P2P computing, and web mining.
Ranieri Baraglia was a contract professor at the Department of Mathematics at Perugia University from 1991 to 1996 where he taught operating systems and parallel architectures. Moreover, in 1999 he was contract professor at the Department of Computer Science at Pisa University where he held the course “Tools for developing parallel and distributed applications”. He has been, and is involved in Italian and European projects. Ranieri Baraglia received the Best Application Paper Award at the conference: The 2004 IEEE/WI/ACM Joint Conference, International Conference on Web Intelligence and International Conference on Intelligence Agent Technology.
